Il 13 ottobre il CEO di Goldman Sachs David Solomon ha avvertito di possibili tensioni locali in vista delle elezioni di metà mandato. In Nevada, dove Washington possiede circa l'80% del territorio, la corsa a governatore dipende ora dalla questione se questi siti debbano sorgere su terreni federali.
