Meta wires Muse into Shopify and QuickBooks to chase revenue beyond ads

Meta Platforms (META) opened its Muse agent to small businesses on September 29. The agent can now plug into Shopify, QuickBooks, Stripe, Slack and Canva, plus Instagram and Facebook ad accounts. Ads still bring in nearly all of Meta's money, so wiring an AI agent into the tools owners already run is a direct bid to sell something new.
