ARKG is the ARK Genomic Revolution ETF, a fund run by ARK Invest that holds a basket of stocks in gene editing, DNA sequencing, targeted drug development and other biotechnology fields. An ETF is a single investment that owns many stocks at once, so buying a share gives you a slice of all of them. ARK earns a yearly management fee from the fund's investors, and the fund's value rises or falls with the companies it holds.
