ITB is the iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF, a fund that pools investor money to buy shares in dozens of companies tied to building new homes in the United States: homebuilders like D.R. Horton and Lennar, plus makers of building materials, home improvement retailers, and other suppliers to the housing industry. Rather than betting on one company, buying ITB gives an investor exposure to the whole home construction business in a single trade.
