IYC

IYC is an exchange-traded fund from iShares that bundles together stocks of large U.S. companies selling things people want but don't need, like Amazon, Tesla, Home Depot, McDonald's, and Booking Holdings. Instead of picking individual stocks, an investor buying IYC gets a slice of dozens of these companies in one purchase, and the fund's value simply tracks how that whole group of stocks performs. It doesn't run a business itself; it just holds shares of businesses in the retail, restaurant, travel, and auto industries and passes along their combined gains or losses.
