IYE

The iShares U.S. Energy ETF (ticker IYE) is a fund, not a single company. It pools money from investors and uses it to buy shares in America's biggest oil and gas businesses, names like ExxonMobil, Chevron and ConocoPhillips, in one basket. Instead of earning revenue itself, its price simply rises and falls with the combined stock prices of the energy companies it holds, so its fortunes are tied directly to oil and gas prices and the health of the drilling, refining and pipeline businesses inside it.
