UNG

The United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the price of natural gas. It does this by holding futures contracts, agreements to buy natural gas at a set price on a future date, rather than owning any physical gas or drilling equipment. When natural gas prices rise, the fund's share price tends to rise too, and when gas prices fall, so does the fund. It exists purely to give investors a way to bet on natural gas prices without touching the commodity itself.
