If you are looking for Autopilot alternatives, start with one question: do you want the trades placed for you, or only shown to you?
Autopilot does both. It lists portfolios built from the trades that politicians and funds disclose, then mirrors them inside your own brokerage account. Most alternatives do one half. This list sorts ten of them by what they do, what they cost and where they work. Prices were checked on 9 October 2026.
The short version: in the US, dub and Quiver (through Quantbase) place trades automatically. In Europe, eToro does it for its own users, and its Congress-Buys Smart Portfolio invests in a monthly basket of the stocks Congress members bought most; we found no European service that places one politician’s disclosed trades. Everything else here shows the trades and leaves the order to you.
What does Autopilot do, and what does it cost?
Autopilot is an iPhone app. Its App Store listing describes a marketplace of portfolios (politician trackers, hedge fund trackers, thematic and AI portfolios) that connects to your existing brokerage, such as Robinhood, Charles Schwab or Public, and mirrors each trade there.
The fees come from its Form CRS, filed with the SEC and dated 4 February 2026. The Basic tier has no fee. The Premium tier charges a fixed fee per portfolio: $29.99 to $199.99 a quarter, or $99.99 to $699.99 a year. The minimum account is $500, with $500 minimum per portfolio. The form adds that a percentage fee on assets is currently 0.00% but expected in the future.
Whether the app works in your country is a separate question, answered in our guide on where the Autopilot app is available.

Which Autopilot alternatives place the trades for you?
Only a few. Each has a catch.
dub. dub runs its own brokerage, so trades run inside an account held at dub with no outside broker to link. It replicates politician trackers, hedge fund trackers and creator portfolios, starting from $100 according to its App Store listing. Premium is listed at $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year (the listing shows several price points), and premium strategies carry advisory fees. Eligibility is the catch: dub’s help page asks for US citizenship or permanent residency, a Social Security number and a US residential address. On 9 October 2026, its App Store page did not open on the French, German, Italian, Spanish or UK storefronts. The details are in dub in Europe.
Quiver Quantitative with Quantbase. Quiver is mainly a data platform: Congress trading, insiders, government contracts, lobbying. Its Premium plan costs $30 a month or $300 a year (shown as $25 a month), with a 30-day trial on the annual plan and 7 days on the monthly one. Premium adds politician portfolios and a leaderboard, backtesters and alerts. Through its partnership with Quantbase, Premium subscribers can also trade a selection of Quiver’s copytrade strategies automatically, and some attempt to mirror a single politician: the Nancy Pelosi strategy attempts to mirror her portfolio of common stock. The catch is who can use it. Quantbase serves US clients only, and its Form ADV reports 0% non-US clients.
eToro CopyTrader and Congress-Buys. This is the automatic option with a European licence. According to eToro’s CopyTrader page, CopyTrader carries no additional charge (spreads and fees still apply), the minimum per investor is $200, and eToro (Europe) Ltd is regulated by CySEC. What it replicates is eToro’s Popular Investors, not politicians or funds filing with the SEC. The page also states that capital is at risk. The politician-based product is a different one: eToro’s Congress-Buys Smart Portfolio, presented in a press release of 14 August 2024, invests automatically in a basket of the 10 stocks Congress members bought most in the past 100 days (by reported purchase size), rebalanced monthly, from $500 and not available to US users. It is a basket built on Congress purchases as a whole, not a copy of a given politician.
Which alternatives only show the trades?
Seven, counting us. They all read the same public filings: STOCK Act reports for Congress, SEC 13F filings for funds. None can be faster than the filing itself, which Congress members may file up to 45 days after the trade.
Capitol Trades. Politicians only. Free, no paid plan found, with filters by committee and sector. No alerts and no app.
Unusual Whales. An options-flow platform. Politician trade information sits on the paid plans of its pricing page: Retail Basic at $50 a month ($42 billed yearly), Retail Pro at $75 ($63) and Retail Max at $120 ($102). The free plan is delayed two trading days.
Pelosi Tracker. An iPhone app by Vantara Labs Ltd, listed on the French, German, Italian and Spanish App Stores: live politician portfolios, push alerts and a comparison with the S&P 500. Lite costs €6.99 a month or €69.99 a year, Pro €19.99 a month or €169.99 a year, with a 7-day trial.
Capitol Gains. Another iPhone app, with a free live feed. Pro adds notable-trade detection, pattern analysis, alerts and CSV export for €7.99 a month or €59.99 a year.
HedgeFollow. Funds first: 13F filings, insiders and a Congress tracker. Plans start at $10 a month billed yearly, up to $49 a month for the second level.
Dataroma. Portfolios of 83 superinvestors, insider buys and an RSS feed. Funds only, no politicians, and we found no paid plan.
TrueWallet. This is us, so weigh the entry accordingly. TrueWallet is an iPhone app that rebuilds the disclosed portfolios of US politicians and 13F funds, sends an alert when a new filing is read and gives an AI verdict out of 100 on each wallet. You can run a virtual portfolio against the S&P 500, with the disclosure delay built in. It costs €9.99 a month or €99.99 a year, with a 7-day trial. It is not a broker, never holds your money and never places an order. See our roundup of politician stock tracker apps for the wider comparison.
Is there an Autopilot alternative in Europe?
For reading and simulating, yes. The web tools open from European browsers. Pelosi Tracker and Capitol Gains are listed on the French, German, Italian and Spanish App Stores, priced in euros, and TrueWallet is available across Europe.
For automatic investing tied to politicians, the one we found is eToro’s Congress-Buys Smart Portfolio, a monthly basket of the stocks Congress members bought most. We found no European service that places one politician’s disclosed trades. Placing trades on a client’s behalf is a regulated activity in Europe, so a service needs a licence or a licensed partner. eToro has the licence, and its CopyTrader replicates its own users. Our guide on the European Autopilot alternative covers that side in detail.
How do I choose?
- Trades placed for you, living in the US: dub or Autopilot. Compare fees against your account size, since both carry a subscription.
- Filings only, cheapest: Capitol Trades for politicians, Dataroma for funds.
- Politicians and funds in one iPhone app, from Europe: TrueWallet, knowing it tracks and simulates but never places an order.
Past performance is not indicative of future results, and nothing here is investment advice.
Frequently asked questions
What are the best alternatives to Autopilot?
It depends on what you want from the app. dub and Quiver Quantitative (through its partner Quantbase) place trades automatically, in the US. Capitol Trades, Unusual Whales, Pelosi Tracker, Capitol Gains, HedgeFollow and Dataroma only show the trades. In Europe, reading the trades works in a browser, and eToro’s Congress-Buys Smart Portfolio invests automatically in a monthly basket of the stocks Congress members bought most; we found no European service that places one politician’s disclosed trades. TrueWallet reads politicians’ and funds’ disclosures, simulates the portfolios with virtual money and never places an order.
Which Autopilot alternatives place the trades automatically?
In the US, dub (through its own brokerage) and Quiver Quantitative Premium (through Quantbase, on Quiver’s own strategies). In Europe, eToro’s CopyTrader replicates other eToro users automatically, but those are eToro’s Popular Investors, not politicians or funds filing with the SEC. eToro’s Congress-Buys Smart Portfolio is the politician-based product: it invests automatically in a monthly basket of the stocks Congress members bought most (from $500, not for US users).
Are there free Autopilot alternatives?
For reading the trades, yes. Capitol Trades is free, Dataroma shows no paid plan, and Quiver and Capitol Gains have free tiers. None of them places a trade. Automation is paid: dub Premium, Quiver Premium and Autopilot’s Premium tier. TrueWallet is a subscription (€9.99 a month or €99.99 a year, 7-day trial) and does not place trades.
Is there an Autopilot alternative for Europe?
For tracking and simulation, yes: Pelosi Tracker and Capitol Gains are on the French, German, Italian and Spanish App Stores, TrueWallet is available across Europe, and the web tools run in a browser.
