EU lockert Methanregeln, damit das Gas trotz knapper Versorgung weiter fließt
Brüssel hat vorgeschlagen, seine Methanimportregeln um ein Jahr zu verschieben, sodass sie erst im Januar 2028 greifen. So sollen strengere Vorgaben die Ladungen in diesem Winter nicht abschrecken. Washington und Frankreich hatten darauf gedrängt. Für Exporteure wie ExxonMobil (XOM) und Cheniere Energy Inc (LNG) ist das eine Erleichterung. Equinor ASA (EQNR) hat außerdem einen neuen Fünfjahresvertrag für Gaslieferungen in die Niederlande abgeschlossen, während der TTF-Preis nahe 87 Euro liegt.
